It Was A Dark & Stormy Night in Satpura

The Lantern Man and other stories from Jungles of Satpura “It was a dark and stormy night”, those scary lines flashed across my mind as I saw the streak of light moving around in a serpentine fashion towards my cottage. I cursed myself for not remembering Hanuman Chalisa even though my grandmother had tried to teach it to me a hundred times when I  was growing. Story Behind Portrait of a Lady I clicked in Mehrauli Me and Tarun Gaur, my friend from Kerala Blog Express days was with me and we were trying to find our way out of the Jamali Kamali Complex ( Wait for a detailed post). As we were walking we met a group of daily wagers working on the restoration of one of the monuments in the Qutub Complex.  They were all curiously looking at our DSLRs and camera bag etc. It was evening time and the light was beautiful, and  I was wondering if the laborers will agree to get clicked. Charminar in Reflections

  Portrait of an Old Man With Charminar  These pictures were recently taken at Mecca Masjid near Charminar in Old Hyderabad. This old gentleman is a regular to the Mecca Masjid since his childhood and feeds the pigeons there. I requested him to pose for me and here is the result. I was very happy to see the reflection of Charminar in his really cool sunglasses, though a bit of me also came in the frame 🙁 I am deliberately keeping the image sizes to large so that you can see the reflection of Charminar in his Sunglasses clearly.
