January 2015 Calendar Wallpaper: Matrimandir Pondicherry A few years ago I started printing desi Calendar only for my family  and a few very close friends. Travel Tuesday Picture: Village Life in Art of India

Life and Art of Rural India in Batik Print They say beauty lies in the eye of the beholder, so what is beauty to me, may not be good for you and vice versa. So browsing through some old pictures I found this simple bed sheet, that I find beautiful both for its art as well as for what it depicts in the print. For today’s picture I have chosen a picture of a bed sheet from one of the hotels I stayed in Pondicherry to attend an international marriage in a resort. Now on the face of it this bed [Continue Reading By Clicking Here…]

 Beach Cricket in Pondicherry

Beach Cricket In Pondicherry I was walking in evening on a beach in Pondicherry, when I saw these boys playing cricket, the unofficial national game of India. This is a common pass time for boys in India, to play cricket on any open space. While watching them I was very happy to see that the boys are happy and enjoying life to the fullest. They were not rich, and must have been kids of local fishermen as there were a lot of fishing nets and boats nearby. The devastating effects of the Tsunami in Pondicherry were still visible [Continue Reading By Clicking Here…]

Ratatouille- Trying French Food in Pondicherry India

— We all love to revisit our childhood every once in a while just for the sake of good old days. Don’t worry it is never going to come in an exam. So I watch a lot of animation movies with my kids and every once in a while one gets a movie that one loves to watch again and again.   [Continue Reading By Clicking Here…]
