Christmas Tree and Snowman in Bangkok
As this is Christmas time, our daughters have decorated a small Christmas tree in our living room. Nothing fancy just one of those plastic trees that you get in the mall, but they very lovingly decorated it with lights, colored balls, bells and other toys. The younger one is totally fascinated with the same and spends a lot of time looking at the tree. Now Christmas is one of the biggest festivals around the wold and though Christians are a very small population of India, Christmas is one of the biggest festival in India. I think Christmas is one festival in India that has been able to break the barriers of religion and is celebrated by one and all in India.
So here are some pictures of the Christmas tree we have in our home, and also I am giving a picture of the Snowman that we clicked in a Bangkok Mall during our Thailand trip more than a decade ago.
As I type this Thailand is going through a lot of turmoil and civil unrest. I request all of you to join me in praying for peace and prosperity in Thailand and around the world. Let the Christmas spirit go beyond the holidays and bring love and smile around the world.
Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to all of you.
