Certified Eco-Volunteer Training: Nagarhole Batch

 

Good news for all those who wanted to join the next batch of Eco-Volunteer Training from Karnataka Forest Department and Jungle Lodges and Eco-Tourism Board of Karnataka.

This time the training will be conducted in Nagarhole National Park near Mysore, well-known for its wild Elephants, big cats, bison and other flora and fauna. The training this time is in three batches

8-12 December 2014

13-17 December 2014

18-22 December 2014

The selected volunteers need to report to directly at the venue on the morning of the first day of the training. This is the link from where you can register yourself:     Register For Eco-Volunteer Training December 2014 Batch it will be valid till the registrations are open.

Cost of the training is :  Rs 5500 for boarding and lodging in dormitories ( separate dormitories for men and women)

Rs 7500 for rooms on twin sharing basis all inclusive. Check the poster below for more information

It is a great opportunity for anybody interested in learning about wildlife, protecting tigers, learning how to participate in Tiger Census, Elephant Census and know more about what all forest department works on.

But remember it is a lot of hard work and not a picnic that you are joining so apply only if you are serious about wildlife and not just as a photographer to click pictures.

So if you are interested in learning about how you can help in conservation of tigers and other wildlife go ahead and apply for the program, you will learn a lot from very passionate Wild life and forest officials and other conservationists like our trainer and mentor Sarath Champati.
