Dear readers here is information about the next batch of Eco-Volunteer training by Karnataka Forest Department in Bhadra Tiger Reserve. The program is conducted by Karnataka Forest Department in association with Jungle Lodges and Resort.
Here is some useful information for the Eco Volunteer Training Program Batch for May 2015
Location: Muthodi Nature Camp, Bhadra Tiger Reserve
Batch I: 11 to 16th May 2015
Batch II : 16th to 21 May 2015
Batch II : 21 to May 26 May 2015
Cost will be 7800 all-inclusive for dormitory
10500, per person on triple sharing in Tents

Please note this is serious training and not a Wild life safari for tourists, so join only if you are serious about helping in conserving wildlife and projects like census of Tigers and other wild animals and birds.

Points to remember: Carry 3 passport size pictures, Good Walking Shoes, Your sleeping bag to stay in the Anti Poaching Camp, and carry a good torch for jungle is pitch dark in the night.

Coming from volunteering background, I would have loved to join another such camp. Have done it before with Kanha.

No I am not going for this one as I am already certified eco volunteer, but may go for some live project in forest next….
