July 2015 calendar desktop wallpaper: A playful Elephant Calf

Half of 2015  is already gone, and monsoon is already showering relief from heat in most of the country while rest of us eagerly await for the first Monsoon Showers.  In the meantime I share with you the July  2015 desktop calendar to download.

But first a bit about the picture: The picture was taken at the Elephant Camp in Dubare in Coorg as the calf discovered the cloth in the river next to a rock and decided to play with it. The behavior was not very different from a human baby who on discovering that a rattle when falls makes a sound and is given back to him when he cries. Similarly this elephant calf with throw the cloth in water and then pick it up again to throw again.
