That I love to travel is not a secret.  Not only distant dream destinations, I love to explore my own city also. For last few years it is my ritual to click pictures of Ravana under construction in Tatarpur and Tagore Garden area of West Delhi.  Right under the blue line of metro you can see Ravans under construction of all shape and sizes. Like every year I reached the Ravan market of Delhi and was trying to click pictures of Ravans under various stages of completion.     Video of Ravan Burning In last post I shared some pictures of  making of Ravan and Ravan on the roads. Here is a video of Ravan Burning shared by my niece and nephew.   Feel free to share the same with your friends and family. A happy Dussehra to all of you. Ravana on The Roads

  Making and Burning of Ravana Dussehra is one festival that has so many symbols attached with it. The winning of good over evil, Ram over Ravana, destroying of demons by women power  in form of Bijoy Dashmi  during Durga Puja. I was talking to my niece and nephew about the same, just when they were going out to watch the burning of Ravana and they sent me some pictures on knowing that I am missing them and burning of Ravan in Delhi.
