Memories of Goa in Reflections As the mercury dips and the elusive sunlight filters through the canopy of trees, my body wants to go back to the sunny beaches of Goa and watch the reflection of the Sun taking a dip in the Arabian Sea. But here I am in my home, trying to keep warm by guzzling endless cups of ginger tea. Shankar  Market smiles again with Street Art: Reviving Connaught Place Till 90s Connaught Place was a dream market, you moved around in circles, window-shopping and sometimes buying, drinking milk at Keventer’s, enjoying your stuffed Patties and Pastries at Wenger’s and strolling through the shaded corridors, checking the graffiti made by pan stains ( beetle leaves) on the corners. A Picture from Bijapur: Scooter in front of Ibrahim Rauza Adil Shahi dynasty was one of the 5 Deccan Sultanates that were formed after splintering of Bahmani Sultanate, the first Islamic dynasty in South India that shaped the history of Deccan for centuries.  Even the Qutub Shahi Emperors  of Golconda were originally generals of the Bahmani Sultans.  But this post is about the Adil Shahi tomb Ibrahim Rauza, built by the 5th Sultan of the Bijapur for himself.  While I work on a detailed post on the same let me share this picture of the bright yellow scooter in [Continue Reading By Clicking Here…]
