Travel Tuesday Picture: Bloggers dance in Tea Gardens of Munnar

Travel Tuesday: Bloggers Dance in Munnar Today’s travel picture is from Tea Gardens of Munnar, a very important Nilgiri Tea growing hill station in Kerala. So in the true tradition of dancing in tea gardens, our three blogger friends decided to shake [Continue Reading By Clicking Here…]

Maut Ka Kuan: Death Well At Numaish Well like I mentioned earlier I was at Numaish a traditional fair conducted every year in Hyderabad and one the things that totally zapped me was what we call Maut Ka Kuan or the Well of death. Here inside a man-made huge tub, daredevil motorcycle and car stuntmen defy gravity and perform stunts that will put any Bollywood and Hollywood hero to shame. There are no  helmets or net to protect them in case of an accident. But fortunately these guys practice a lot and using a bit of laws of [Continue Reading By Clicking Here…]

Traveling with Movies- A trip down memory lane with Chitrahaar from Bollywood I am part of the Doordarshan generation, yes the good old DD, and that too the Black and White one. We had one TV in our extended family, taking the pride of place in the bedroom of one of my uncles.  This was the hallowed room for us, allowed entry only once in a week on Wednesday when the weekly Bollywood dose of Chitrahaar was aired. For the ipod and Youtube generation it will not be out of place to inform what Chitrahaar was. You see in [Continue Reading By Clicking Here…]

Trekking In Himalayas- Bollywood Style

Bollywood Style-Trekking in Himalayas-Jara Hatke Review of Yeh Jawani Hai Diwani So we watched Yeh Jawani Hai Diwani. Before you ask let me clarify this is not a movie review of Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani. The movie is actually pretty good and we enjoyed watching it, once I asked both my right and left brain to take a hike in the Himalayas marching left right left right. You see that is where my problem begins. I have absolutely no issue with parts of movie being absolutely filmy. I don’t care if Deepika Padukone wears a mini skirt from her class [Continue Reading By Clicking Here…]
