So when Jac Wright, the Edgar nominated author approached me to read and review an advance copy of his soon to be published novel “The Reckless Engineer” I immediately agreed.  The icing on the cake was the story is set in beautiful Scottish and south English coast, which I want to visit ever since I first visited our friends Doug and Doreen outside of [Continue Reading By Clicking Here…]

Aahaar Kuteer Begumpet-The Millet Restaurant

The Magic of Millets at Aahaar Kuteer Begumpet We visited Aahaara Kuteer a very unique restaurant in Begumpet Hyderabad. In this age of French Fries, Double Sundae and 2 liter coke bottles it takes a true entrepreneur to start a restaurant that is based on Millets. Millet what? You may ask if you are like most city folk whose staple diet is made of Pizza, Pasta and butter Naan all product of refined wheat flour or Maida. A Vision of Angels- A Book Review

A Book Review of A Vision Of Angels- Timothy Jay Smith Lets go to Jerusalem, one of the few cities that is as old as history itself.  Considered holy to the three Abrahamic religions, where angels, messengers and emperors have walked. Where emperors from both East and West have laid siege and destroyed the city so many times that every corner has a story to tell, each more painful than the last. We will visit Jerusalem with Timothy Jay Smith, the [Continue Reading By Clicking Here…]

A Review of Driving Tata Vista D90

In ancient times a man and his steed were inseparable; today the role of steed has been taken over by cars and bikes.  No wonder a car can evoke emotions that have very few parallels. Indeed for the upward mobile Indians today cars is as much a necessity as a home, and in a lot of cases people buy a car before buying a home. I have been driving for a long time now and have been fortunate to rent and drive some very good cars on my trips to US. But car driving in India is totally different [Continue Reading By Clicking Here…]
