desi in Wow Hyderabad Magazine
September is a special month, this marks the anniversary of desi Traveler moving on its own domain with the post on A Rare Ganapati that I found in interiors of MP.
Another first has happened this September. While desi Traveler has featured as a blog a few times in different online and print media, including one of my pictures appearing in Deccan Chronicle and two of my pictures from Tal Chapar winning prizes from Lonely Planet in a photography competition, I have never written a post for a print magazine or newspaper. Recently I was approached by WOW Hyderabad Magazine to write a post with pictures on one of the temples of Hyderabad it was a different kind of feelings. So dear reader given below is the pictures and post that I wrote of WOW Hyderabad Magazine, the post is about 180 year old Sitaram Bagh Temple in Hyderabad.
I hope you like this post and pictures about the Sitaram Bagh temple that was built 180 years ago by Ganeriwal family in Hyderabad. Hyderabad is a treasure trove for photographers and in almost all part of the city you find various monuments that are part of our history and heritage. Some of the places that I have written about earlier can be checked here
- Sri Ramachandra SwamyTemple Amappalli Village
- Golconda Fort
- Taramati Baradari
- Chilkur Balaji Temple
- 18 Meter Tall Buddha Statue
- Birla Temple Naubat Pahad
- Osmania University
Here is a complete list of places to see in Hyderabad that desi Traveler has visited and written about on this blog. I will continue to add places that I visit to the list and would love to hear about places that I have not covered so that I can visit them.
Please feel free to share the post and pictures with your friends and family on Facebook, Twitter and Google+
