June 2017 Travel Digest – Sourced from Instagram June has been so hot that I canceled many trips to stay indoors, only to be cajoled by Wife jee and kids to take them to hills.  So we were in Kangra and exploring the nearby areas with a focus on India’s first heritage village Pragpur. Kangra is not very cold compared to higher reaches of Himachal but the district has great cultural significance for the development of arts like Kangra School of Miniature Paintings and in Dharamshala and McLeodganj you get to see the snow clad peaks of Dhauldhar Range.
