 Alluring Kashmir: The Inner Spirit by Irfan Nabi & Nilosree Biswas

Our last image for this June Travel Digest has been shared on my special request by Author, Photographer and storyteller Irfan Nabi who goes by the name Errfan’s Eye. I met Irfan and Nilosree in Ladakh last year during Naropa Festival, they have co-authored this beautiful book on Kashmir, aptly titled > Alluring Kashmir. The book captures the timeless beauty of Kashmir through their sensitive eyes.  Alluring Kashmir is the kind of book you want to go back to again and again and browse through the pages whenever you miss Kashmir. Besides bookstores, Alluring Kashmir is also available at Amazon Book Store.

With this I want to thank all the wonderful photographers, travelers, and bloggers who are kind enough to share their images with #desiTraveler blog. As space and time is limited I am only sharing some of the images here on the blog. But if you go to Instagram you will find more and more people are sharing their images and I hope to share more in the coming days.

Just as an FYI anybody can join this initiative all you need to do is follow desi Traveler on Instagram and use #desiTraveler and I will share some of my favorite images here on desi Traveler blog. It does not matter if your image has been shared once same photographer’s image can be shared again as long as it is a new image. Thanks a lot, and happy travels.

    I loved the collection. My fav was the last picture on Kashmir by Irfan Nabi. The Ghriyal was clicked so wonderfully. Urban trash had a different perspective. Every picture showcases a story of it’s own.

    Fabulous collection of pictures. I like the Ghariyal, Urban Trash, Arti’s Eid post and the last picture the most. Also, other pictures are equally amazing with a nice personal touch to each of them. So good to see your brain child i.e. Travel digest is growing at a good rate. Kudos! 🙂
