Ode to Lesvos

[adsenseyu1] [adsenseyu2]  Lesvos: The Island of Greek Angels We have all taken pride in the journeys we have taken to distant land and looked forward to our destination with anticipation dreaming of the balmy beaches, colorful cocktails with little umbrellas awaiting us in the hotel lobby to be served with a smile by a charming hostess.  But not all journeys are like that, some of us need to undertake arduous journeys just to save our life and leave the land we have called home since time immemorial.  For the Syrian refugees forced to flee their homes due to civil [Continue Reading By Clicking Here…]

Superhero Mom gets marhaba surprise at Dubai Airport #marhabasurprises

We all have our favorite superhero that we worship and want to follow, but none comes even close to a single mom that raised six kids while working full-time. Every mom is a superhero in the eyes of her kids, for only a mom can juggle between a job and running a household with 6 kids and still manage to smile. In this post I share a beautiful story of Jodin and her sisters who work in Dubai while their mother lives in LA, USA due to health issues. I am sure you saw this video of marhaba surprises that I shared earlier. One [Continue Reading By Clicking Here…]

[adsenseyu1] [adsenseyu2]  An Indian Family trip to Goa: What Indian Families can do in Goa When I was a kid a family vacation meant going to my grandparent’s homes every year during summer vacations as we lived in different cities. My Nani and Dadi showered their blessings on us and secretly competed for the title for favorite grandmother. Sometimes we visited a few pilgrim places like Rishikesh, Haridwar etc. The biggest attraction was going to hills like Simla,  that was our favorite hill station as nobody has heard about Leh,  Sikkim or other exotic names you talk today.  [adsenseyu1] [adsenseyu2] Maut Ka Kuan: Death Well At Numaish Well like I mentioned earlier I was at Numaish a traditional fair conducted every year in Hyderabad and one the things that totally zapped me was what we call Maut Ka Kuan or the Well of death. Here inside a man-made huge tub, daredevil motorcycle and car stuntmen defy gravity and perform stunts that will put any Bollywood and Hollywood hero to shame. There are no  helmets or net to protect them in case of an accident. But fortunately these guys practice a lot and using a bit of laws [Continue Reading By Clicking Here…]

[adsenseyu1] [adsenseyu2] My First South Indian Meal on Banana Leaf Although I am a shudh 100% desi, there are so many things that I have never tried in India. But like they say there has to be a first time for everything. So recently I was invited by my friend and philanthropist Ram Babu, who also co-manages the famous Aahaar Kuteer the millet restaurant in Begumpet and is doing a lot of work on satvik ( holisitc) food that can help in a better healthier lifestyle.
