The Replica Paintings and artists of Koh Samui Thailand The Joker with his piercing eyes stares at me sending a chill down my spine, I look away to find The Godfather giving an ear to one of his Consigliere. No ladies and gentlemen I was not on a set in Hollywood but in the tropical paradise island Koh Samui in Amazing Thailand and walking the eclectic Chaweng Beach Road, the most happening [Continue Reading By Clicking Here…]

The SONY Xperia Z3 Compact: What a Traveler needs

Checking  Sony XPERIA Z3 Compact from a Traveler’s Perspective   I have been playing with the Sony Xperia Z3 Compact phone with a special interest in the camera function of the phone. To begin with 20.7 mp camera is just the tip of the iceberg of the tens of cool features that the phone offers.  But rather than exploring all the features of the phone camera I was keener to check out the camera from a traveler’s perspective. So where do my travels take me? Well from the bone-chilling Himalayas to dusty deserts in Rajasthan to hot and humid [Continue Reading By Clicking Here…]

Diwali is a festival of Lights

Celebrating an Eco Friendly Diwali: A festival of Lights Diwali is the biggest festival in India celebrated across regions and religions.  It started as a festival of lights when as per Ramayana Lord Ram returned to Ayodhya after spending 14 years in exile in the Jungles.  When he returned to Ayodhya triumphant after defeating demon king Ravana the citizens of Ayodhya illuminated the city with oil lamps, hence starting the tradition of ” Festival of Lights “. Notice  Diwali or Deewali or Dipawali is a festival of lights, I am not sure when the tradition of burning [Continue Reading By Clicking Here…]

Lakshman Sagar : A Fairy Tale in Rajasthan

Lakshman Sagar: A Fairy Tale Luxury Heritage Resort in Rustic Rajasthan There are hotels and then there are luxury hotels, once you are done with luxury what is left to experience?  May I suggest living in a fairy tale from another era? The recipe is not easy to replicate but let me try. Take an old hunting lodge of King, add a beautiful lake surrounded by OLD Banyan trees where Peacocks perch for night, add a couple of havelis, now bring some creative interior decorators who add a dash of colors and a lot of local daily use things [Continue Reading By Clicking Here…]
